Medical Eye Care

The specialist you need already works here.

Most eye practices refer complex disease elsewhere. We built ours so you would not have to drive to Orlando, Melbourne or Miami.

Glaucoma

Fellowship-trained management, from drops through minimally invasive surgical options.

Retina & macular degeneration

Fellowship-trained retina care, including injection therapy, diabetic retinal disease and Valeda light therapy for dry AMD.

Retina & macular

Cornea

Fellowship-trained corneal care, from dry eye through transplantation.

Diabetic eye care

Annual screening and treatment, coordinated with your primary care physician or endocrinologist.

Dry eye

Evaluation and treatment of a condition too often dismissed as an annoyance — including BBL light therapy, which improves the function of the oil glands behind most dry eye. BBL is self-pay. About BBL

Routine eye exams

For the whole family, with two optometrists and same-week availability.

Our optical

Three opticians, and a wall worth browsing.

Your prescription filled where it was written, by people who can walk down the hall and ask the doctor a question.

Simple to designer

A genuine range, not a token display. Whether you want something plain and durable or a frame you actually enjoy wearing, it is here to try on rather than to order from a catalogue.

A serious sunglasses selection

Built for how people live here — boaters, golfers, and anyone who spends the day in Florida sun. Prescription sunglasses included. Protecting your eyes from UV is not a style question, and we treat it accordingly.

Outside prescriptions welcome

You do not have to be our patient. Bring a prescription from any doctor and our opticians will fit it.

Adjustments and repairs, gladly

Bring your glasses in whether we sold them or not. Straightening, tightening, a replacement nose pad — we are always happy to help, and there is no appointment needed.

Three opticians on staff

Enough people that you are not waiting for the one person who does fittings, and experienced enough to handle difficult prescriptions and progressive lenses properly.

Contact lenses

Fitting for routine and difficult prescriptions, including specialty fits.

Our dispensary

Leave with your medication in hand.

Our on-site dispensary fills both prescription and over-the-counter eye medications before you leave the building. No second stop, no pharmacy queue, no discovering at 6pm that the drop you need has to be ordered.

It also solves a smaller problem that patients quietly appreciate. Standing in a drugstore aisle in front of forty bottles of artificial tears is a genuinely confusing experience, and most of the choices are wrong for the condition you actually have. Here you leave with the one we recommend, in your hand.

It saves you a trip — which, when your eyes have just been dilated, is worth more than it sounds.

Two offices, one record.

Whichever office you visit, your chart, your imaging and your doctors are the same.
