Advanced Eye Surgery Center

One specialty. Three operating rooms. Eyes only.

Most surgery today happens in an ambulatory surgery center rather than a hospital. What still varies enormously is whether that center does one thing or twenty — and whether your surgeon has any say in how it runs.

Eyes, and nothing else

We are a single-specialty center. Not orthopedics on Tuesday and eyes on Thursday — eye surgery, every day, in rooms built and equipped for exactly that. Our staff assist in eye procedures every working day, and volume and repetition are what make a room both efficient and safe.

Accredited and certified

The center is AAAHC accredited and Medicare certified. Both require outside inspectors to come in and examine how we actually operate, not how we say we do.

Surgeon-owned

Our equipment, instrument sets, protocols and sterilization standards are chosen by the surgeons who operate here. When something needs changing, the person who decides is the person holding the instrument.

Scheduled around your life

Three operating rooms mean genuine flexibility in when your procedure happens — and when your second eye follows.

It is one of the most efficient surgical facilities in the country, which for you simply means less time in the operating room and less time waiting to enter it.

Add before publishing: the year the center was first accredited, and a photograph of an operating room. Do not publish procedure times or cases-per-hour figures.

Surgery day

What actually happens

  1. Before you arrive

Your drops start a few days beforehand, and you will have written instructions covering everything you need to do.

  2. At the center

Numbing drops only. You will be awake, aware of pressure and movement, and you will not see the surgery being performed.

  3. Going home

No patch, no bandage. You leave shortly after the procedure.

  4. The same day

We often check you the same day. Most patients resume normal activities immediately and get on with the afternoon.
