Premium cataract surgery, and your day back.
Topical anesthesia. No needle, no patch, no IV sedation — and most patients are able to resume normal activities immediately after surgery.
Most people don't come in because of a test result.
Cataracts arrive slowly, and vision you lose gradually is easy to explain away. The most common reasons in our practice are below — but it can be anything vision-related that interferes with your daily activities.
Night driving
Halos, starbursts and glare around headlights — or simply a loss of quality, a fading of contrast that is harder to name. Either way you start avoiding the roads after dark, or quietly limiting how far from home you are willing to go.
You lose the ball
You hit it and lose it in flight — or you cannot follow your partner's ball either, which is the version people mention first, because it is harder to blame on the swing. On the tennis court it shows up the same way: the ball is simply harder to pick up than it used to be.
Reading is work
You need more light than you used to. Or you can still read, but it tires you now, when it used to be effortless.
Those are the three we hear most, but they are not a checklist. Sewing, a computer screen, a recipe card, road signs, faces across a room — if your vision is getting in the way of something you want to do, that counts.
Subspecialty depth, without leaving the Treasure Coast.
Most eye practices refer complex disease elsewhere. We built ours so the specialist you need already works here.

Finish what you came for, in one building.
Our optical has three opticians and a real range of frames, from simple to designer — plus a serious sunglasses selection for boaters, golfers and anyone who spends the day in Florida sun. Outside prescriptions are welcome, and we are always happy to adjust or repair your glasses whether we sold them or not.
Our dispensary fills prescription and over-the-counter eye medications before you leave. It saves you a trip, which matters more than it sounds when your eyes have just been dilated.
The only lens you can fine-tune after surgery.
The Light Adjustable Lens is the only FDA-approved intraocular lens that can be customized after your cataract procedure. We implant the lens, let your eye heal, then adjust your vision with a series of painless light treatments until it matches the way you actually live.
It also allows something no other lens does: with the LAL, the interval between your first eye and your second can be as short as a few days.
